報(bào)告內(nèi)容:The industry is undergoing dramatic changes. Manufacturers aspire to a shift towards mass personalization – a paradigm that produces personalized products at mass efficiency. In mass personalization, traditional manufacturing automation technologies designed for mass customization, such as product family architecture, reconfiguration manufacturing systems and delayed differentiation, will fail if not adapt as the batch size becomes one and manufacturing is dynamically driven by unique customer needs. Hence, smart manufacturing system was devised to represent a new generation of manufacturing systems that can dynamically configure the manufacturing processes and systems to carry out optimized production of unique products based on near real-time environment sensing, humanoid reasoning, and reconfiguration of system models. At the core, smart manufacturing systems need perceptive and decisive capabilities, leading to dynamic self-organizing behaviors. With advanced cognitive capabilities, manufacturing equipment, systems, and factories can self-sense, self-communicate, self-reason, and self-configure to prevent potential critical issues, optimize operations, and enhance the overall integration of machines, humans, and digital supply networks. This talk gives an overview of our research work on smart manufacturing systems, focusing on semantic-aware machine-to-machine communication, decentralized manufacturing coordination, and digital twin-driven manufacturing control. The speaker will also highlight some emerging trends on manufacturing system research.

報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介:陸玉前博士本科和碩士畢業(yè)于大連理工大學(xué),博士畢業(yè)于新西蘭奧克蘭大學(xué)?,F(xiàn)為奧克蘭大學(xué)機(jī)械工程系博士生導(dǎo)師、工業(yè)人工智能課題組負(fù)責(zé)人。主要從事智能制造系統(tǒng)、工業(yè)人工智能和共融機(jī)器人等方向的研究,在國(guó)際頂級(jí)制造和自動(dòng)化期刊上共發(fā)表35篇SCI論文。其中JCR一區(qū)論文28篇,累計(jì)谷歌他引2300次。2019年至今共發(fā)表ESI高被引文章7篇,ESI熱點(diǎn)文章1篇。至今主持新西蘭科技部及企業(yè)橫向課題共7項(xiàng)。多項(xiàng)研究成果在制造和建筑等領(lǐng)域成功商業(yè)化。擔(dān)任北美制造業(yè)協(xié)會(huì) (The North American Manufacturing Research Institution of SME (NAMRI | SME) 科學(xué)委員會(huì)成員,IET Collaborative Intelligent Manufacturing雜志副主編。
