一、學(xué)校簡(jiǎn)介 About us
西南石油大學(xué)是新中國(guó)創(chuàng)建的第二所石油本科院校，是一所中央與地方共建、以四川省人民政府管理為主的高等學(xué)校。2013年，學(xué)校入選“國(guó)家中西部高?；A(chǔ)能力建設(shè)工程”，成為入選該工程的100所高校之一。石油與天然氣工程學(xué)科連續(xù)兩輪入選國(guó)家一流學(xué)科，全國(guó)學(xué)科評(píng)估連續(xù)獲評(píng)A+。我校石油與天然氣工程學(xué)科形成“油氣并舉、氣為特色”并在全國(guó)乃至全球?qū)W科覆蓋最廣、研究方向最完整的學(xué)科格局，石油與天然氣工程及其配套學(xué)科水平較高，工程學(xué)進(jìn)入ESI排名世界前1‰行列，化學(xué)、材料學(xué)、地球科學(xué)、環(huán)境/生態(tài)學(xué)進(jìn)入ESI排名世界前1%行列。
Southwest Petroleum University (SWPU), founded in 1958, is the second petroleum university since the establishment of P.R. China. It is jointly built by the central and local governments, with the Sichuan Provincial Government as the main administrator. In 2013, SWPU was selected into the “National Central and Western Universities Basic Capacity Construction Project” and became one of the 100 universities in the project. The discipline of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering has been selected as the national first-class discipline for two consecutive rounds, and has been rated as A+ discipline in the national discipline assessment. Now it has formed the discipline development pattern of “co-developing oil and gas, with gas being featured”, making the broadest discipline coverage and the most complete research directions across China and even around the world. Engineering has entered the top 1‰ of ESI rankings in the world, while Chemistry, Materials Science, Geo-science and Environmental/Ecology are among the top 1% of ESI rankings in the world.

After more than 60 years of development, SWPU has evolved into a multi-disciplinary university focusing on engineering, with advantage in oil and gas discipline that ranks the top in China.
學(xué)?，F(xiàn)有15個(gè)教學(xué)學(xué)院、1個(gè)工程訓(xùn)練中心。學(xué)科專(zhuān)業(yè)涵蓋理學(xué)、工學(xué)、管理學(xué)、經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、文學(xué)、法學(xué)、教育學(xué)、藝術(shù)學(xué)8個(gè)學(xué)科門(mén)類(lèi)。本科具有招生資格專(zhuān)業(yè)74個(gè)，一級(jí)學(xué)科博士學(xué)位授權(quán)學(xué)科7個(gè)、專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué)位博士點(diǎn)1個(gè)，一級(jí)學(xué)科碩士學(xué)位授權(quán)學(xué)科24個(gè)、碩士專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué)位授權(quán)類(lèi)別15個(gè)，自主設(shè)置能源類(lèi)交叉學(xué)科博士學(xué)位授權(quán)點(diǎn)2個(gè)、碩士學(xué)位授權(quán)點(diǎn)4個(gè)。
SWPU consists of 15 schools and 1 engineering training center, covering 8 discipline fields: Science, Engineering, Management, Economics, Literature, Law, Education and Art. There are 74 undergraduate majors eligible for enrollment, 7 first-level disciplines with doctoral degree authorization, 1 professional degree doctoral program, 24 first-level disciplines with master's degree authorization, 15 categories of master's professional degree authorization, and 2 self-established interdisciplinary doctoral degree authorization points and 4 master's degree authorization points in the field of energy.
學(xué)?，F(xiàn)有全日制在校學(xué)生41449人，其中普通本科生31413人，碩士研究生8486人，博士研究生1033人，外國(guó)留學(xué)生510人。現(xiàn)有教職工2753人，有正高級(jí)專(zhuān)業(yè)技術(shù)職務(wù)人員382人，副高級(jí)專(zhuān)業(yè)技術(shù)職務(wù)人員721人。其中，中國(guó)工程院院士1人，德國(guó)工程院院士1人。
Currently, there are 41,449 full-time students, including 31,413 undergraduates, 8,486 master students, 1,033 doctoral students and 510 international students. There are 2,753 faculty and staff members, among whom 382 hold senior professional titles and 721 hold associate senior professional titles. There is 1 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and 1 academicians of the German Academy of Engineering.
學(xué)校重視國(guó)際交流與合作，已與美、俄、英、德、日、法、加等10多個(gè)國(guó)家和地區(qū)的高等院校和相關(guān)學(xué)術(shù)研究機(jī)構(gòu)建立了密切的交流與合作關(guān)系。
SWPU has always attached great importance to international exchange and cooperation and has established close relationships with higher education institutions and relevant academic research institutions in more than 10 countries and regions such as the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, France, Canada, etc.

七、申請(qǐng)及錄取流程Application and Admission Procedure
第一步：網(wǎng)上申請(qǐng)
申請(qǐng)者登錄西南石油大學(xué)國(guó)際學(xué)生在線(xiàn)服務(wù)系統(tǒng)（https://swpu.17gz.org/），注冊(cè)賬號(hào)、在線(xiàn)填報(bào)、提交申請(qǐng)。
Step 1 Online Application
Applicants should log in to the Online Service System for International Students of Southwest Petroleum University at https://swpu.17gz.org/ to register an account, fill in the online forms and submit the application.
第二步：審核材料 確認(rèn)錄取
收到學(xué)生申請(qǐng)后，西南石油大學(xué)將審核申請(qǐng)者材料，確認(rèn)錄取名單，將辦理《錄取通知書(shū)》和《外國(guó)留學(xué)人員來(lái)華確認(rèn)表》（JW201/202表）。
Step 2 Documents reviewing and admission confirmation
After reviewing of application materials in accordance with the provisions of the university, successful applicants will be issued Admission Notice and Confirmation Form for Study in China (the JW201/202 Form).
第三步：申請(qǐng)來(lái)華學(xué)習(xí)簽證
被錄取學(xué)生憑學(xué)校出具的電子版《錄取通知書(shū)》到中國(guó)駐外簽證機(jī)關(guān)申請(qǐng)學(xué)習(xí)類(lèi)簽證。
Step 3 Application for Study Visa to China
Successful applicants can apply for a study visa at the Chinese visa agencies stationed abroad with the electronic version of the Admission Notice issued by the university.
